We are looking for a meticulous candidate to fill the position of a Compliance Officer.


Our goal is to carry on the business of consultation in Malta and overseas to entrepreneurs, being individuals and companies. Consultations relate to all matters, such as strategic planning, financial, costing, bookkeeping, project management, and other related services.


  • Understanding the licencing and compliance requirements within the local regulated market;

  • Ensuring customer due diligence is in line with the company’s customer acceptance policy, creating and updating policies and procedures in relation to AML / CFT to ensure compliance with current and new legislations and ensuring that AML procedures are enforced throughout the company;

  • Process of accepting new clients as well as performing client re-evaluation in line with our Risk Compliance policies;

  • Effectively preparing and submitting AML reports as required by the local regulations;

  • Lead on and prepare for regulatory audits/compliance reviews.

  • Managing relationships with regulatory bodies;

  • Providing guidance on technical regulatory requirements;

  • Educate and train employees on AML/CFT regulations and industry practices;

  • Assessment of internal controls and procedures.


We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, who has a keen interest and a good understanding of Compliance & Risk Management principles. 


The preferred candidate for this position will be a professional with: 

  • Experience interpreting, understanding and communicating regulatory requirements;

  • Understanding of licensing requirements and compliance regulations including technical standards for a variety of regulated businesses;

  • Experience working with legal teams, technical teams, and external partners in the context of regulatory compliance;

  • A strong understanding of corporate structures and risk management;

  • Sound knowledge of AML/CFT laws and regulations and experience with reporting;

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer;

  • Experience in fraud and risk management;

  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls in Financial Crime Risk and Regulatory Compliance (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, GDPR etc).

  • Demonstrable experience in developing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures;

  • Strong educational background, with a specialization in Compliance;

  • High standard of written and spoken business English;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team building qualities;

  • Highly motivated in a strong work ethic;
